“I have told you this so that you might have peace in me. In the world you will have trouble, but take courage, I have conquered the world.” –John 16:33 https://catholic-link.org/quotes/quote-peace-courage-catholic-jesus/
Every year, it’s truly inspiring to see the incredible creativity the Holy Spirit provides the artists, designers, authors, and entrepreneurs featured in Catholic-Link.org’s Christmas Catholic Gift Guide. Creating this list is a joy because Catholic-Link is passionate about supporting these small Catholic businesses in their mission to evangelize through their craft. Connecting our readers with faith-enriching resources is central to our mission, and we’re confident that every item on this year’s guide has the potential to do just that. As you shop for Christmas this year, we encourage you to reflect on each purchase and consider how it might draw the recipient closer to the Lord. Let your gift-giving be thoughtful and prayerful, rather than just routine. And know that we are praying for you throughout this holy season. These days, I find myself praying often for a restoration of the masculine and feminine virtues in society. There’s so much confusion swirling about, whether it’s “gender ideology,” sexual orientation, body dysmorphia, or otherwise. We all feel the tensions mounting in the social, political, and cultural realms. Most of us are wounded by this in some way, whether personally or in our immediate family relationships, our daily interactions with co-workers or friends. https://catholic-link.org/5-feminine-virtues-mary-annunciation/
Catholic-Link Connect Small Group: Encountering Emmanuel A Guided Advent Journal for Prayer and Meditation Embark on a transformative journey this Advent with Heather Khym, cohost of the Abiding Together podcast, as she extends a heartfelt invitation to embrace stillness and silence amid life’s chaos, allowing God to dwell in the depths of your being. While the world moves at an ever-faster pace, Heather encourages you to pull back from the hustle and create space for our Savior to come into every area of your life—to transform and heal it through his love. In Encountering Emmanuel, Heather will gently guide you into the areas of your heart where Christ has not yet come—the areas where you’ve shut him out, the places you’ve long forgotten and ignored, or the spaces you’re ashamed to acknowledge. You’ll learn how to invite him in so that he can bring his light, love, peace, hope, and healing into your heart. From the forgotten corners to the shadowed recesses, Heather encourages you to open these spaces to the transformative power of Christ’s love. https://catholic-link.org/advent-catholic-books-resource-guide/

Consider for a moment all the resources Catholics hold. The vast richness abounds. Above all, we have the fullness of faith, which is the foundation upon which all other assets are built. https://catholic-link.org/catholic-owned-businesses/
Having knocked on doors somewhere between every day and every week since 2016 (minus my two years with the Carthusian Monks), I have had many unexpected and even seemingly uneventful encounters. Here are a couple of those encounters. https://catholic-link.org/catholic-evangelization-tips-2/
“The wisdom and elegance of Scripture hold the secrets of life, code to live by, prophets whose words came true, redemption and promise of salvation… from the beginning of the world to the revelation of God in the world to agreements made with man; to the Ten Commandments and how we should live our lives; and to Jesus Christ, salvation history and the promise of everlasting life it is all there”. The Logic That God Exists https://catholic-link.org/jesus-proves-god-catholic/
“Moral principles do not depend on a majority vote. Wrong is wrong, even if everybody is wrong. Right is right, even if nobody is right.” ― Fulton J. Sheen https://catholic-link.org/how-to-vote-catholic/
