Christ is risen! Indeed, he is risen! Welcome to the month of April, Faith and Family in Basking Ridge. Let us welcome the Mooneys, our parishioner feature family. The Mooneys have long been members of St. James Parish, and they’ve brought up their two sons in the Faith with the help of the St. James community. Their story emphasizes the importance of an authentically Catholic education in the spiritual, moral, and intellectual development. We should all strive to be lifelong learners of the Catholic Faith, as well as lifelong learners of all things that bring goodness to others and the world. This Easter season, reflect on the Mooneys’ story, especially on the importance of handing on Church traditions and teachings to the next generation of Catholics. This is crucial, not only for one’s individual salvation, but also for the salvation of the whole world. We must be like Christ to others in all aspects of life.
