Today we celebrate the 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time. The scriptures emphasize fraternal correction as a way to guide others back to faith. The process outlined by Jesus through Fr. Peter Blake encourages confronting individuals with charity, seeking counsel, and involving the Church if needed. Let's strive to follow this process out of genuine love for one another.

This weekend, in addition to the Sunday celebration, we also commemorate Labor Day. Let us offer prayers through the intercession of St. Joseph, the Worker, for those who are unemployed or underemployed, thanking God for the ability to use our talents to provide for ourselves and our families.

Join us for the 78th Annual Neier Homecoming this weekend. This festival is a time for parishioners to come together, reconnect with families and clergy, and enjoy a day of fun activities. This event supports the upkeep and mission of the parish. Come to Neier and savor some of the best fried chicken in Franklin County!

The first Parish Council Meeting of the year was held at I.C., welcoming new members and initiating discussions on assessing the parish mission and setting goals for the upcoming year. The Parish Council plays a vital role in addressing concerns and ideas of parishioners. Your contributions and engagement are highly valued.

As we move forward after Labor Day, our calendar is filling up with various events and programs. Look forward to the upcoming Oktoberfest at St. Clare on October 10th and stay tuned for more information on ways to get involved and contribute to the parish community.

Weekend Masses: Saturday 4:00pm Vigil, Sunday 8:00am. Weekday Masses: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday at 8:00am. Reconciliation on Saturdays from 3:15pm - 3:45pm.

Celebrate the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary on September 8th. On Saturday, the Church celebrates the Holy Name of Mary, the patronal feast day of our parish. Pray for Mary's intercession as we cherish and protect every human life.

Fall Festival letters, meat orders, and raffle tickets mailed out. Fall Festival flyers available for distribution. PSR classes ongoing. No PSR class on September 6, 2026. Knights of Columbus golf tournament on September 25 and blood drive on September 14.

Reflect on giving generously according to the gifts you have received. Prayers for strength and courage to prioritize Jesus above worldly ways. Additional prayer intentions for sick and homebound parishioners.

Monthly rosary schedule provided. OWLS gathering on September 13 at Sacred Heart in Troy. Luke's Mission event on September 20 with family trivia. Advertise on enticing topics such as country estates or interior design.

Daily Mass: Mon 8:00am at St. Paul Church, Tue-Fri 8:15am at St. Joseph Church. Weekend Mass: Sat 4:30pm, Sun 7:30am, 10:00am.

Confession: Fri 7:45am-8:00am, Sat 3:30pm-4:15pm. Adoration: Tue 8:45am-7:00pm.

Sept 9: Fall Picture Day. Sept 17: Quilts of Valor event. Oct 3-4: Fall Festival with activities, games, and dinners. Oct 6: Golf Tournament benefiting Birthright of Wentzville.

St. Ann's Children’s Liturgy of the Word has stopped for the summer. It will resume on September 13 at our 9 am Mass. All Children ages 3 thru 1st grade are welcome to come forward before the readings and will return around offertory time. Join us for Adoration every Monday after the 8 am Mass until 6 pm at St. Gertrude Church. There will be a Rosary Walk on Labor Day, starting at 10 am on the Katy Trail. All are invited to participate and pray for unity and healing of our Church and country.
