Dear Parishioners, Deacon Gerry Galernik has been facing health challenges due to Parkinson's Disease, a recent stroke, and a fall. Despite these difficulties, his faith in God and the care from his caregivers keep him going. Let's continue to keep Deacon Gerry and his wife, Kathy, in our prayers. Thanks to the parish's support and responsible stewardship, the Sisters of Notre Dame at Saint Jerome now have a new air conditioning system in their Convent. This upgrade brings great relief to the Sisters, ensuring a cool environment for them in the upcoming Summer. Let's continue to support and appreciate our Sisters for their dedication and service.
Join us this Wednesday, May 20, at 7:00 p.m. for a presentation on Sacrosanctum Concilium, a document of the Second Vatican Ecumenical Council. This presentation will focus on its impact on the way we celebrate the Eucharist. It's a great opportunity to deepen our understanding of this important topic and unite as the People of God. Your presence and participation are highly encouraged.
Let's bid adieu to Fr. Michael as he concludes his service at Saint Jerome and All Saints. A reception will be held on June 20-21 and June 27-28 for parishioners to express their gratitude and wish him well. Donuts will be served after Mass on the mentioned dates. Your presence and well wishes will mean a lot to Fr. Michael as he transitions to a new chapter.
