El nacimiento de la Santísima Virgen María es la alborada de la luz para el mundo entero y el anuncio gozoso de la salvación que se aproxima. En la sencillez y pureza de su cuna, Dios prepara el templo santo donde la Palabra divina se haría carne, demostrando que la salvación comienza en la humildad y la gracia. Su llegada a la tierra es la promesa de que las tinieblas pronto serán vencidas por el nacimiento de Cristo, el Sol de Justicia. Pedimos su intercesión para que nos libre de la desesperanza y nos enseñe a preparar el corazón para acoger a su Hijo con la misma pureza, alegría y disponibilidad con la que ella lo hizo.
