Reflection on the Gospel

In today's Gospel, we reflect on the disciples walking to Emmaus with Jesus, unable to recognize him until he breaks bread. Their eyes are opened to his presence in a new way. Let us also learn to recognize Jesus in hidden ways, such as in Scripture, the Eucharist, the sacraments, and the life of the Church.
