St. Mary, Star of the Sea

In October, as we dedicate this month to the Holy Rosary, every prayer becomes a gentle invitation to pause, breathe, and rest our souls in the presence of God. Walking hand in hand with our Blessed Mother, we place our days and worries into her care, discovering in this simple devotion a quiet sanctuary from the noise of the world. As we pray this Rosary, we entrust our deepest joys, trials, and silent intentions into the Immaculate Heart of Mary. We ask her motherly intercession to draw us ever closer to Jesus, granting us the grace to live each day with steady faith, humility, and inner peace.

Reflect on the Gospel for the 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time, where Jesus invites us to not be indifferent but to engage with him fully. Let us not be distracted by other desires and be ready to accept God's extravagant offer of a place in the heavenly banquet.

Reflect on the story of the rejected meal and how it relates to our faith journey. Just as Jesus offers us the ultimate meal of life through the Eucharist, let us remember that true nourishment and salvation come from recognizing and accepting this gift.
