The Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, has invited people to join him in prayer at St. Peter’s in Rome on Saturday, April 11 at 6pm for a prayer vigil for peace. Bishop Daniel Garcia of our Diocese of Austin and the President of the USCCB (United States Conference of Catholic Bishops) Archbishop Paul Coakley have invited each person, family, and parish and faith community to participate in their own ways as they are able. We will offer a holy hour of Exposition and Adoration at 11am-12pm, tomorrow, Saturday, April 11, 2026 for anyone wishing to pray before our Lord Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist, and concluding with Benediction. This will be at the same time as the Holy Father’s prayer in Rome. Please pray for peace! DEAR PARISH, We are excited to announce that the project of repaving of our parking lot will take place this week. Through the Christlike sacrifice of some generous donors, and with the advice and support of the parish finance council we have reached a suitable point to proceed with this important work. Please keep this project in prayer. It is anticipated that the parking lot will be unavailable for use at least Monday through Wednesday and perhaps Thursday. There will still be Confessions and Mass and ministries taking place this week. We apologize for any inconvenience of these three to four days, but you should plan for alternate parking along the street during this work. We will post any changes to the timing on Tabella if they arise. CCE parents will need to plan to drop off and pick up their children for classes on Wednesday in front of the Church. Several of our parish children and youth who have reached sufficient readiness made first confessions yesterday. It is so exciting that they take this next step in their relationship with Jesus, and we pray that their families and all of us will be models of faith for them so that they continue in this lifelong journey of becoming great saints, all that God intends and that they are meant to be, drawing souls to be filled with the love of Jesus. Please keep them in prayer and all others who are preparing to receive sacraments of initiation very soon. Varios de los niños y jóvenes de nuestra parroquia que ya están suficientemente preparados hicieron su primera confesión ayer. Several of our parish children and youth who have reached sufficient readiness made first confessions yesterday. It is so exciting that they take this next step in their relationship with Jesus, and we pray that their families and all of us will be models of faith for them so that they continue in this lifelong journey of becoming great saints, all that God intends and that they are meant to be, drawing souls to be filled with the love of Jesus. Please keep them in prayer and all others who are preparing to receive sacraments of initiation very soon. Es muy emocionante que den este siguiente paso en su relación con Jesús, y oramos para que sus familias y todos nosotros seamos modelos de fe para ellos, para que continúen este camino de toda la vida hacia la santidad, todo lo que Dios quiere y lo que están destinados a ser, atrayendo almas para que se llenen del amor de Jesus.
