Third Sunday of Easter - Gospel Reflection

The Gospel reflects on the events of Easter, highlighting the encounter of two disciples with a fellow traveler on the road to Emmaus. As they share their sorrow over recent tragic events, the traveler uplifts them by revealing that Jesus is the Messiah, and their hearts are opened during the breaking of the bread, realizing the traveler is Jesus Himself.
