We recently visited St. Peter’s Basilica and brought back holy water. Some of the holy water was unfortunately spilled during transit, and someone suggested that I add regular water to make more holy water. I looked into it, and read that “a common practice amongst Catholics is to mix holy water with regular water with the purpose of making all the water holy.” Is that right? It seems like if this process is repeated, I’d eventually end up with a bottle of regular water.
