I am in Naples with Fr. Adam Carrico. Spending a few days with my beloved sister, whom many of you know. On Monday Fr. Adam and I head to Miami where we will board the Royal Caribbean “Allure of the Seas” on which we will take our annual retreat. St. Meinrad, where we both attended seminary, offers a retreat for priests on a cruise ship once every three or four years, so we thought, “Why not 🙏🏼” We went to Mass this morning at St. William. My late Mom and Dad were parishioners here, and we had both their funeral Masses here as well, so lots of memories flooding in this morning. Haven’t been here in over a decade but I was struck by how much the woodwork reminds me of our beloved St. Stephen Martyr.
