Pope Francis calls for global day of prayer and fasting, Monday October 7th, amid escalating conflict in Holy Land. “To invoke the gift of peace through the intercession of Most Holy Mary...I will go to the Basilica of St. Mary Major, where I will pray the holy rosary and address a heartfelt plea to the Virgin; I also ask you...to join me on that occasion.” Please join us for our 6 PM Mass on Monday evening at St. Stephen Martyr. Immediately after Mass we will expose the Blessed Sacrament for Eucharistic Adoration. At Pope Francis' request, we too will offer a Rosary for Peace in the Middle East.
