LOOK | Highlights of the 62nd Parochial and Town Fiesta In honor of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, the Parish of Our Lady of the Assumption, Asuncion came alive with prayer, joy, and devotion for its 62nd Parochial and Town Fiesta. The Pontifical Mass was solemnly presided by Most Rev. Medil S. Aseo, D.D., Bishop of Tagum, with Rev. Fr. Jerson Estose, our dedicated parish priest, and concelebrating clergy. Together, they led the faithful in giving thanks to God for the gift of Mary, assumed body and soul into heaven, our model of faith and our heavenly intercessor. Our Lady of the Assumption, believed to have been taken up into heaven in body and soul at the end of her earthly life, reminds us of the hope and glory promised to all who follow Christ. She is the shining star who guides the faithful of Asuncion to a life of holiness. From the prayerful liturgy to the vibrant fiesta atmosphere, the celebration became a true testament to the deep Marian devotion and unity of the community.
