All are welcome to join us tomorrow, Friday, beginning at 6pm,  as we watch this special game and honor the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks. Before the first pitch, commemorative moments and activities will recognize members of the NYPD, FDNY, PAPD, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, and Tuesday’s Children, who will be joined by select alumni from the 2001 Yankees. The pregame ceremony will include a presentation of colors by honor guards from the NYPD, FDNY, and PAPD. A giant American flag will be unfurled in the outfield during the national anthem, performed by acclaimed opera tenor James Valenti. Country music star Lee Greenwood will perform “God Bless the USA,” and FDNY Lieutenant William Arce will lead “God Bless America” during the seventh-inning stretch. A solemn Mass will be held on September 11, 2026, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attacks. Confessions at 5:30 p.m., followed by Mass at 6:00 p.m. The parish office will be closed on Labor Day, reopening on September 8.
